The Light of Peace is lit annually by an Austrian child at the Flame of Peace in the Nativity Grotto in Bethlehem. It is then further spread by children all over the world. This is also the case in Brunssum.
On December 20, each of the 328 graves of Warcemetery Brunssum will be provided with a peace light.
This is done in collaboration with Vredeslicht Brunssum, scouting group Vincentius and Veterans Brunssum – Military Meeting Point.
Of course, adopters and other residents of Brunssum are welcome. Bring a candle and receive the light of peace brought from Jerusalem to Brunssum.
The start of the ceremony is at 7:00 PM
