Hello from Queensland, Australia. My name is Mia (Marie) and I am the second grand-daughter of LCPL Frederick Ernest THOMPSON,1746961 grave reference II. 40.
I was honoured to attend the 2019 Liberation Festival with my Dad and Sister representing my Mum, Wendy Lateu (nee Thompson) who was unable to attend.
If possible, could you please add me to the email list, so I can also keep up to date with the news and good work of the foundation.
As a Veteran of the Royal Australian Navy, I feel an immense call to keep my Grand-dad’s memory alive and never forget the ultimate sacrifice he made.
I have sent a couple of photos for my authenticity, I also have earlier photos of my Grand-dad’s grave that may be useful to the foundation for historical purposes.
