Peace Light 2023

On December 22, scouting Brunssum presented the peace light that they personally collected in Austria (LINZ) to the Brunssum community at our Warcemetery. Poppyday 2023

Monument of Tolerance

On November 9th the commemoration at the Monument of Tolerance in Haelen, Limburg, took place. This is an annual commemoration for the fallen of 9 nationalities. Veterans from WWII were present from England, Belgium and Germany. The War Cemetery Brunssum foundation was also represented and laid a Poppywreath.

We had a visit from Gerry Walsh on 25th Oct 2023. His Grandfather,  Gerard H.L Mole is buried in our cemetery. PIT Culture Guide

Today 2023-08-30  several representatives of different disciplins of “Culture” made a tour of War Cemetery as part of the PIT culture guide. A preparation for school visits in the future at our War Cemetery. The delegation received our book “Lest We Forget”.

Film recordings

On 2023-08-18 we made film recordings for a documentary about all active war cemeteries in Limburg. The chairman and secretary gave text and explanation about the objectives of our foundation. When the film is ready, it will be available on our website.
